Get spoiled in the new Air France CDG 2F Lounge Salon

PARIS – Are you a Sky Team Elite Plus member and you are traveling in Europe via Paris? If the answer is yes, there is good news for you. In fact, during the core of the pandemic, Air France and the ADP (Aeroport de Paris) group have boosted their customer experience in Terminal 2F with an astonishing new two-floors lounge.

At Wowery we have tried the experience for you.

Welcome area

The welcome area is quite efficient and almost contact-less with a barcode reader to add one guest to your fidelity card and hand sanitizer to guarantee proper disinfection.

The lady behind the desk was able to speak 3 languages and more hostesses are available around the area.

First glance

The first experience is a “wow”. You immediately see how architects and engineers managed to blend the typical oval grey shape of terminal 2F with contemporary lines and light effects. The result is a lounge space that creates vibrant and cozy emotions in a French contemporary style.

Food and drink

The selection is wide and well distributed over two levels.

When we visited there were different cured hams and cheeses selections, together with vegetables, smoothies, and a wide selection of bread. The desserts were also quite abundant with selections ranging from cheesecakes and other French specialties.

For alcohol lovers, the new Salon doesn’t disappoint with different kinds of champagne, red and white wine, and spirits. For those who like soft drinks Coke, Sprite, Minute Maid are always available.

We came back for breakfast too and the usual suspects such as brioches, pain-au-Chocolat and croissant were still there

Services

Even 2 hours connection can be something in here. Both on my way to Naples and back I’ve managed to use the shower service, with a great selection of Clarin’s shampoo and body gel, and the free internet speed connection. Both experiences were good, but the lounge can offer even more. In fact, the French carriers went all-in with a sense of luxury adding also some free facial massages offered by Clarins.

Bottom line

The lounge is an absolute YES, and the French national carrier should be very proud of what has been done here. At Wowery we can recommend the access even if you have to pay  (XX Eur) since for food, services, and comforts there is no better place in the entire terminal 2F.

And you, have you ever been the Salon Lounge, if yes please share your picture and comments.
