As of this week, KLM passengers booking air tickets will simultaneously be able to book a train ticket from Schiphol to Amsterdam Central Station with NS Dutch Railways. The service is mainly intended for foreign visitors flying KLM to Schiphol and staying at accommodation in Amsterdam. Travellers can now plan and book their entire journey in one place and won’t have to wait in line to buy a train ticket. Previously, KLM passengers had the option of combining their air ticket with car rental or taxi service via the booking platform CarTrawler. Summer 2022: Air France to serve Quebec City from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to its 4th destination in Canada

Up to 3 weekly flights operated by Airbus A330-200 as from 17 May, 2022Present in Canada for 71 years, Air France will also increase service to its other Canadian destinations: Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver ​Air France is expanding its services to Canada, the airline’s second largest long-haul market in seats offered. As from 17 May, 2022, Air France will fly from Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Quebec City's Jean Lesage International Airport (YQB), with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. IATA: Passenger traffic Improved in November; Omicron Restrictions likely to affect period ahead

Geneva - The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that the recovery in air travel continued in November 2021, prior to the emergence of Omicron. International demand sustained its steady upward trend as more markets reopened. Domestic traffic, however, weakened, largely owing to strengthened travel restrictions in China. Because comparisons between 2021 and 2020 monthly results are distorted by the extraordinary impact of COVID-19, unless otherwise noted all comparisons are to November 2019, which followed a normal demand pattern. Total demand for air travel in November 2021 (measured in revenue passenger-kilometers or RPKs) was down 47.0% compared to November 2019.
