Delta adds flights from LAX to Sydney with its A350-900

Delta Air Lines will increase the frequency of its nonstop service between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and Sydney International Airport (SYD)  beginning Dec. 16, 2022. Customer are advised to check entry requirements prior to travel. Delta will operate 10 flights per week on its flagship Airbus 350-900 aircraft, featuring Delta One suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin services. KLM and Thalys make train travel more appealing to intercontinental and European transfer passengers

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Thalys have closed an agreement to continue developing their joint AirRail product with a view to making it more appealing to customers. The aim is to increase the number of passengers with connecting KLM flights at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol who travel from Brussels – and back – by train. For some time now, KLM has offered transfer passengers the option of boarding a Thalys high-speed train instead of a flight on the Brussels-Schiphol leg of their journey (or vice versa). Before the Covid-19 pandemic, 20 to 25% of these passengers (some 36,000 customers) chose this option. Delta’s new A321neo narrowbody debuts on Boston routes beginning in May 2022

Delta customers will soon begin seeing the first routes to feature the airline’s new A321neo aircraft. The experience-rich, fuel-efficient narrowbody jet arrived in Atlanta last week, and beginning tomorrow, customers may purchase tickets on the first flights the aircraft is designated to operate. A321neo-operated flights are set to depart from Delta's hub at Boston Logan International, bound for San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA), San Diego (SAN) and Denver (DEN). The new aircraft will first depart for San Francisco on May 20 and then debut on existing flights to Seattle beginning August 11.
