Chile’s Tribunal for the Defense of Free Competition has approved the agreement reached between Delta Air Lines, LATAM and the Chilean National Economic Prosecutor's Office. The agreement and the decision by the court that has approved it will allow, among other things, the implementation of Delta and LATAM’s commercial agreement subject to the mitigation measures offered by the parties. Meanwhile, the regulatory approval process with the U.S. Department of Transportation continues. Once all regulatory approvals are complete, the partnership between Delta and LATAM will connect the Americas to the world like never before, delivering greater travel options to its customers. Traveling through Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will be even easier for Delta customers enrolled in TSA PreCheck starting next month with the expansion of new facial recognition capabilities and the opening of the first-ever Delta-TSA PreCheck® express lobby and bag drop. Customers with both the Fly Delta app and a TSA PreCheck membership will soon be able to visit a new dedicated bag drop lobby on the lower level of Atlanta’s Domestic South Terminal, pass through the security checkpoint, and board their plane at the gate using only their "digital identity" (made up of a customer’s SkyMiles Member number, passport number and Known Traveler Number).
