KLM: Singapore lifts quarantine for vaccinated travelers from the Netherlands

The Singaporean government has added the Netherlands to the so-called Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL). This means that fully vaccinated travelers who fly to Singapore on a VTL flight will no longer have to undergo quarantine locally. Effective November 1, KLM will offer two VTL flights per week to Singapore. These flights will become bookable this week. Travelers from VTL countries must also show a negative COVID-19 test result that is no older than 48 hours before departure. For other requirements, please refer to the Singapore government website. KLM unveils miniature house no. 102: Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam

Every year, KLM unveils a new miniature house to mark its anniversary on 7 October. This year's house is a Delftware miniature of Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam. This new house arrives just three weeks before the Tuschinski movie theatre celebrates its centenary. This stunning cinema was opened on 28 October 1921 by the Polish immigrant Abraham Icek Tuschinski. With Hermann Ehrlich and Hermann Gerschtanowitz, Tuschinksi had built up a cinema empire in Rotterdam by the time a piece of ground near the Munt in Amsterdam caught his eye. Fine lines and beautiful stone The cinema that emerged here brought together a number of architectural styles: Amsterdam School, Jugendstil and art deco.
